How to Be Fearless ?
Fear about fear, or anything else, is a major problem in many people's lives. This article has been composed to provide everyone with some steps which we help anybody who needs to do so become fearless. Get started by reading on from step one below.
StepsEdit
1
List your fears. Write them down or list them mentally. Dogs? Fire? Dentists? Thunderstorms? Night? Spiders? Darkness? Being abandoned? Do not hesitate. Think about it carefully, because this is a major part of overcoming your fears. This method also works for more common fears such as a fear of public speaking, a fear of being a victim of a terrorist attack or fear of death.
2
Write down next to each fear a reason why you should NOT be afraid of this thing and something you can do to combat your fear. For Example - Thunderstorms : They normally are harmless. If I am afraid of them, I'll cuddle with my cat during one.
3
Tuck the piece of paper into a safe place and don't lose it!
4
Whenever you are abnormally frightened of something, take deep breaths and count to twenty. Hopefully you'll feel a bit better.
5
If it doesn't work, take out the piece of paper and read it. Read it as many times as it takes to calm you down.
6
Watch videos or movies related to your fear. Watching the characters overcome their fears can be greatly beneficial.
7
Try not to think about it. You will only get more frightened if you obsess over it!
8
Do the things you're afraid to do and death of fear is certain. Fear is the biggest enemy of a person. Be BRAVE. Don't worry about what will happen in future. Enjoy every moment of life. We are not here to fear things which have not happened and may not ever happen. Be FEARLESS! But in real life, it's impossible to be fearless of everything. You will face things that have the potential to harm you, thus trapping you in a fearful state of mind. All you can do in these situations, is think smart, and rely on instinct. Become as mentally strong as possible to ready yourself early on, so that you may overcome these fearful obstacles.Remember a lot of people are blind to the real world, thus making a lot of information on how to cope with fear, biased! Listen to those who are experienced in the 'art' of living life. For those who have experienced 'both' perspectives of 'life', are 'wise'!!

Focus on the moment. Fear is often the result of our mind not focusing on the here and now. When we worry about the past, rehashing mistakes or wondering if we screwed someone up, we feel fear. When we’re nervous about what’s coming, and imagine worst-case scenarios, most of which are highly unlikely, we frighten ourselves. Instead of living in the past or obsessing about the problems of tomorrow, simply focus on the moment at hand. What can you do right now?
10
Pray if you are religious. We often pray that God will intervene in the problems that we are worried about, but often this type of prayers are simply sanctified worrying. Our prayers are really just our worries, with a “Dear God” tucked on the front. Pray differently: ask for God’s love, rather than his problem solving. Instead of fretting over your concerns, why not pray that God would make you aware of his loving presence? The bible says “perfect love casts out fear.” So pray for God’s love to fill your heart and soul, flushing out the worry and fear.
11
Simplify. Much of the fear in modern life comes from being busy and having too much stuff--it's just more to manage. Jim Wallis writes:"The more we accumulate, the greater our fear and concern that it might all be lost. When we learn to be satisfied with what we have, when we let enough be enough, there is a satisfaction that creates time and space for other priorities in our lives like family friends, and even--God."

How do I face being hated and rejected by my family?
Answered by wikiHow Contributor
It's a strong thing to feel that your family hates and rejects you, so be certain that this is the case before assuming it's so. Try talking to them; they are your flesh and blood after all and must have some feelings for you. This takes guts but you won't get past this until you for sure and why. If they continue to reject you for whatever reason, then you'll need to strike out and make a new family with friends who value and care about you for who you are and for the choices you've made. Then give your family time; some of your family members may come around in a while, after seeing that the choices you have made have worked out for you.

TipsEdit
Don't let your fear stop you from following your dreams or what you want to do. Face them, stand up to them, don't run away, stand up for yourself.
Its all in your head. Ignore your fears and don't think about them.
"Do that which you fear most, and you will find the courage you seek."- Jango Fett
Though in real life fear exists, you've got all it takes to overcome your fears and become fearless. It's all in you!
Don't be too stressed! Anxiety or stress may make you abnormally terrified about normal things.
Remember that fear itself is irrational. Even if we exercise fear in genuinely dangerous situations, it does little to help and often puts ourselves and others in even more danger.
Accept the fact that you will always be fearful of some things and situations. This can help you be at peace with yourself.
Don't hesitate to talk it out! Friends and family are great listeners. If you are shy, then for a more expensive price, you can see a doctor.
WarningsEdit
Do not mistake stupidity for fearlessness. Driving drunk on the wrong side of a road that overlooks a cliff exhibits stupidity, not fearlessness.
Really abnormal fears are called 'phobias'. These can be fears about anything. You have to see a doctor about these.
